Application of the National Data Opt-Out policy to NOGCA has been deferred.
This means that NHS Trusts in England do not need to apply the National Data Opt-Out policy when submitting data to NOGCA.
NOGCA is going to give patients the option of an audit-only opt-out. Information about the audit-only opt-out will be shared with patients via an updated patient leaflet and a poster. Trusts will need to print out the patient information and share it with patients. We will provide Trusts with links to the patient information when the documents are available.
